Congratulations to India on a well deserved win over Sri Lanka. Finally, it was Yuvraj’s turn to get among the runs. Dhoni played well for his fifty, sticking around with the tailenders in a match that went to the wire. Earlier in the match Kumar Sangakkara made a century and was very impressive with his cricketing skills. He along with captain Jayawardene came in a tight situation when Sri Lanka were reeeling at 6 for 2 after 3 overs. They went to put a 153 runs partnership that laid the foundation of their 238 score.
Now Sri Lanka will have to play well against Australia on friday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the ninth odi if they wish to qualify for the finals.
